Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager (Level K) to join our Systems team based out of Everett , Washington !The Supply Chain Manager will lead a team supporting Enterprise level initiatives on implementing high visibility supply chain focused projects, develops and executes integrated organizational plans and solutions to enable business objectives. This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplanes) Supply Chain team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.Position Responsibilities:
Manages Procurement Agent employees and Supply Chain Management Analysts performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, as well as developing supplier strategies.
Executes and develops optimized inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Everett, Washington site.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Processes
5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
Must be willing to travel domestically or internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in managing Supplier Relationships
5+ years of experience in domestic and international supply chain logistics
