Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Tanker TrailersJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee preventive maintenance on electrical systems, brakes, air systems, and fluid replacements, primarily for tanker trailers used in transporting liquids such as fuel and food materials. This role involves working in confined spaces and at heights, so comfort with these conditions is essential. Safety protocols include the use of fall protection lines, respirators, and lifeline systems.Key Responsibilities:
Perform general preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems of tanker trailers.
Access the interior of trailers through hatches for inspections and repairs.
Dismantle damaged trailers and replace or fabricate new components as needed.
Execute aluminum weld preparation, welding, and finishing tasks to produce high-quality aluminum products per specifications.
Work efficiently while adhering to project schedules and budgets, ensuring minimal repairs.
Follow specific welding techniques and processes in tight spaces and various positions.
Interpret blueprints and complete finishing grinding tasks using manual and hand tools.
Qualifications:
Experience in mechanical work, particularly in diesel, structural, or sheet metal applications.
Proficiency in aluminum welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials.
Competence in reading blueprints and executing precise finishing processes.
Ability to dismantle damaged parts and either fabricate new solutions or replace them effectively.
Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
