ResponsibilitiesSummary:The 3rd floor Medical Telemetry unit at St. Anthony Hospital is a 32 bed unit that cares for a wide array of medical patients. As a member of this team, you will care for patients treated for stroke, infectious disease, pulmonary, GI, and many other diagnoses. Our team also proudly cares for patients pre/post diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures. We have six rooms fully plumbed to handle dialysis patients. All rooms in our unit are private with their own restrooms, supply cabinets as well as couches and privacy curtains for the comfort of families who wish to stay close. Each room is equipped with a computer to facilitate documentation and medication verification. We utilize Epic as our electronic health record.Staffing:The management structure of the unit consists of an experienced Clinical Manager and a Clinical Coordinator who work together to oversee the unit. The Charge Nurses provide additional clinical support for the staff and help to maintain the flow of the unit. The staff is composed of RNs and Care Assistants, with support services provided by Respiratory Care, 24-hour Pharmacists, PT/OT, IV Therapy RNs, Dieticians and RN Care Managers. RN assignments are determined by patient census and acuity, and our typical RN ratios are 1:5, with CNA support.QualificationsJob Requirements:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferredPrevious Medical/Surgical experience preferred.New graduates considered for RN residency positions.Current RN license from the Washington State Board of NursingCurrent BLS with the American Heart Association only.Pay Range$46.34 - $77.24 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
