Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for an experienced IT Network Administrator to join our growing team.This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington StatePOSITION DESCRIPTIONMaintains and supports the integrity of the information and communication systems, including servers, networking equipment, and end-user devices for 1600+ employees primarily on Cisco networking, Office 365, and Windows.The following essential job functions are performed as a Network Administrator:
Proactively monitors and administers a variety of networks and systems.
Coordinates downtime and performs security patches and software upgrades.
Travels to various company sites to evaluate connectivity and install new hardware.
Collaborates with team members to identify and implement network improvements.
Creates documentation and maintains licensing agreements.
Acts as first escalation point for helpdesk support.
May cross train team members on a wide array of systems.
Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. Shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Must be at work on time and maintain good attendance. This is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.QUALIFICATIONSDue to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2+ years of experience required.
Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Must be familiar with DNS, DHCP, the OSI model, Active Directory, and RADIUS.
Cisco CCNA / CCNP and Security+ certifications preferred.
Experience with Windows administration and application troubleshooting preferred.
Must be willing to participate in week-long on-call rotation.
Must have excellent customer service communication skills.
Must be accommodating and flexible while maintaining priorities.
Must be able to work independently within established IT administration procedures.
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary range for this role is between$120,000 - $150,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
