Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the fabrication and installation industry based in Kent, Washington. The role will be primarily onsite and will involve various accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities: Accurate processing and maintenance of accounts payable invoices. Efficient data entry tasks including manual entry of some job information. Regular reconciliation of credit card transactions. Assisting with accounts receivable duties such as entering change orders. Ensuring correct timecard entries by liaising with the superintendent. Scanning and saving invoices as part of our automated system. Entering certified payroll/L& I into LCP tracker. Detail-oriented monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. Processing weekly payroll and ensuring all timecards are in and correct. Utilizing various software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks.The role requires a tech-savvy individual who can work independently and has a keen attention to detail. The ability to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoice processing tasks efficiently is crucial. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Billing processes and procedures Competency in Data Entry tasks Understanding of Invoice Processing procedures Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks Experience with Oracle financial software Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software Knowledge of SAP financial software Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Prior experience in an Accounting Clerk role is advantageous.
