Job Summary: As a Petco Grooming Salon Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing the grooming salon operations to provide exceptional grooming services for our beloved pets. Your primary objective will be to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, promote a positive work environment, and drive salon performance. You will oversee a team of professional groomers and support staff, ensuring they deliver excellent grooming services while maintaining the salon\'s cleanliness and safety standards. Responsibilities:
1. Salon Operations Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the grooming salon, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Coordinate grooming appointments, manage scheduling, and optimize grooming capacity.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Monitor and manage salon inventory, including grooming supplies
2. Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of groomers and support staff.
Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to salon team members.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance grooming skills and stay up to date with industry trends.
3. Customer Service and Relationship Building:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively resolve any customer issues or complaints related to grooming services.
Utilize customer feedback to improve salon operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
4. Quality Assurance and Safety Standards:
Ensure grooming services adhere to Petco\'s quality and safety standards.
Perform quality checks to maintain grooming excellence and consistency.
Stay updated on industry grooming techniques, trends, and best practices.

5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor salon performance metrics, including revenue, grooming appointments, and customer satisfaction.

Maximus is currently hiring for a Clinic Assistant to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team in Kent, WA. The Clinic Assistant is responsible for assisting providers and veterans on exam days in any manner needed, general problem solving in a solutions-oriented manner for both providers and veterans, and updating case statuses as available. The ideal candidate possesses the desire to assist our wounded veterans with a caring, positive, and patriotic attitude.
This position requires a high amount of travel to various clinic locations in the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all job functions in compliance with HIPAA policies and adhere to local and externally relevant health and safety laws and policies.
- Gather and provide necessary information to providers; may include gathering forms, documents, and vital signs necessary to the evaluation.
- Provide a high level of customer service by greeting and directing all visitors, answering inquiries, confirming contact and appointment information, and otherwise facilitating a positive experience.
- Document all actions taken and other pertinent information as it relates to veteran and provider interaction.
- Clean exam rooms between each appointment and otherwise maintain stock and cleanliness of the clinic throughout the day.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must live in or near Kent, WA
- Ability to travel by car to local clinics required
- Reliable transportation to travel to other clinics required
- Valid driver\'s license required
- Ability to work some weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as needed required

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate\'s education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus\'s total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
