Develop test plans, procedures, and scripts for shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, and vacuum testing of high and low voltage flight hardware.
Conduct power-on, functional, acceptance, and qualification tests, documenting results for high and low voltage distribution, power regulation, and conversion hardware.
Support hardware integration and the use of analysis tools to verify unit requirements and performance.
Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a lab environment.
Assist with wiring, hardware installation, and test bench setup for integration and testing activities.
Participate in design and system reviews, providing feedback on integration and testability throughout project phases.
Contribute to program-level technology development, mission assurance, safety initiatives, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Comprehensive understanding of electronics hardware development, such as high-voltage switching and power regulation.
Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design, including analysis, simulation, testing, troubleshooting, and part selection.
Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and general board layout principles.
Experience developing and troubleshooting special electronic test equipment.
Proficiency in standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting tools.
Programming experience in C and/or Python.
NI LabVIEW / TestStand experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems.
Experience supporting testbeds for spaceflight systems.
Proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools (LTSpice, PSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Simscape).
