Description We are seeking a driven and experienced manager to lead our clients IT Department, responsible for driving the development and implementation of critical business applications, integrations, and data solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's technology landscape. Job Description Manages the Software, Integrations, and Data Engineering (SIDE) Division of the Information Technology Department. Provides direction to division staff and assist the Director in the planning, development, testing, and implementation of new customized business applications, integration solutions, database-related projects, DevOps, and commercial software selection for purchase based on present and future needs. Strong understanding of and direct experience with customized software engineering, data engineering, and integration projects as well as overseeing technical leadership on commercial software implementations involving a myriad of existing and emerging technologies. Strong understanding of and direct experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies/framework (we do a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall here). Manage operational support of custom solutions (DevOps), substantial management, administrative and supervisory functions in assessing custom business solutions needs for the client and developing and recommending a client wide IT roadmap in conjunction with the PMO and IT Deputy Director. Negotiate Contracts with Vendors for initial procurement. Help with setting workplan for each year. Contribute resources for Integrations and Data Engineering on multiple IT Projects that are not custom development projects. Responsible for providing leadership and direction, and prioritizing work for division staff; work with other IT Division managers/supervisors and the PMO to identify, assess, and guide projects and associated tasks; and perform special projects as assigned by the IT Director. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; and Experience: Five (5) years of Software Engineering experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and/or management experience.
