Find your future with us.The Boeing Data Solutions Service team is currently looking for Senior Data Warehouse Operations Lead to join their team. This position can be based in Kent, WA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Herndon, VA; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; or Seattle, WA.Boeing Data Solutions Service provides multiple products and offerings that allow application teams to have the flexibility and agility to meet their specific application development and security requirements, by securing and enabling business data.Position Responsibilities:Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Work with customers & Teradata vendors utilizing forecast date for future hardware expansions

Define and implement user account security, network security and access management

Utilize system networking, clustering, storage, Unix administration and scripting

Manage workloads from multiple customers sharing the same system

Determine priority and system resources allocation

Evaluate, upgrade, and troubleshoot Teradata products

Support customers with performance analysis, backup & recovery

Define and update Sarbanes Oxley Support (SOx) control

Coordinate changes from 3rd party vendors, working as a liaison between the Data Center & vendor

Support on call & system outages

Work with Teradata to troubleshoot unplanned outages

Ensure customer data is backed up & retained

Communicate effectively with customers, soliciting customer feedback for process improvement

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):

5+ years of experience with the administration of Teradata systems

3+ years of experience with backups / restores

3+ years of experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems

3+ years of experience working with shell scripting in a Linux/Unix hosting environment

3+ years of experience with database technologies using SQL or PL/SQL

Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):

Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL)

Networking knowledge such as: TCP/IP, Active Directory, SSO, Multi-homing

An understanding of network and cloud storage services like SAN, NAS, & S3

Ability to provide technical solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity

Good interpersonal, communication, and customer relations skills, reputation as a ‘team player’

Ability to work independently, one on one, or in a group setting

Experience in a large and diverse production environment

Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment

Experience with both physical & virtual systems.

Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
