Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Kirkland, Washington. The selected candidate will be part of an industrious team, dedicated to managing a range of accounting tasks. Your role will involve general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements among others.Responsibilities: Oversee General Ledger accounting tasks for diverse entities Conduct monthly bank accounts reconciliation and manage cash accounting entries Prepare and compile quarterly and annual financial statements for trusts Carry out Quarterly Net Asset Value reconciliations Prepare individual personal financial statements Develop cash flow projections Download supporting schedules for financial statements Construct quarterly financial statements Maintain rolling cash forecasts for five quarters Execute year-end closing entries Review and analyze financial records for compliance with accounting principles Collaborate with the accounting team to achieve process improvement objectives by fully utilizing Sage Intacct features and enhancements.The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000.Benefits:M/D/V 100% employer paid for employee and spouseProfit sharing up to 9%401k with match2 weeks PTO10 paid holidays + 4 floating holidays1 week sick timeRequirements Must possess a strong working knowledge of Bank Reconciliations Proficiency in managing and maintaining General Ledger is required Experience in creating and updating Journal Entries is essential Capable of efficiently handling Month End Close processes Expertise in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Experience in Trust accounting is considered advantageous Ability to Prepare Financial Statements in an accurate and timely manner Familiarity with NAV - Net Asset Value is preferred Proficiency in preparing Personal Financial Statements Ability to develop and interpret Cash Flow Forecasts Experience in Year End Closings and the ability to perform them efficiently Capability to Analyze Financial Statements and draw insights Proven skills in Process Improvement Experience with Sage Intacct software is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
