Stellar J, a West Coast-based, employee-owned General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a project in the Tri Cities area.

Typical projects include water treatment plants, bridges, marine terminals, and renewable energy plants that produce RNG, Hydrogen, Electricity, and other green energy processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation/planning for the construction of the project
Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
Prepare/update project schedule/schedule of values/payment applications
Manage change order process
Oversee project documentation, including shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and logs
Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the project, with Project Manager
Oversee site safety and ensure all workers have a safe working environment, with Project Manager
Possess thorough knowledge of plans and specifications
Be effective at scheduling and multitasking
Lead team and project meetings
Requirements:
B.S in Construction Management/related field
Background in field administration and construction process
Familiar with submittals, schedules, shop drawings, and other project documentation
Possess a strong work ethic, self-motivated
Demonstrate effective communication skills (oral and written)
Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
Must have the ability to meet required deadlines
