Goose Ridge Estate Winery, a family-owned and estate-grown establishment, is seeking a Tasting Room Manager for our Walla Walla location. As an innovative brand committed to delivering unparalleled experiences, we’re expanding our team to redefine the tasting room experience in Washington State.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a world-class level of hospitality.

Cultivate and expand our wine club membership through effective outreach and engagement strategies.

Curate unique and memorable tasting experiences tailored to individual preferences.

Coordinate and support on-site and off-site events, showcasing our brands and fostering community connections.

Act as an ambassador for our brands, building relationships with guests and promoting brand loyalty.

Perform administrative duties include: employee scheduling, assisting with payroll, inventory management, weekly POS reconciliation, in house tasting room events, scheduling musicians and updating Facebook.

Must be available to work weekends, some evenings, and attend off-site events.

Additional Responsibilities for Tasting Room Manager:

Lead and mentor tasting room staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience and drive revenue growth.

Utilize cocktail, bartending, or mixology background to innovate and expand beverage offerings.

Collaborate with and attend local regional wine and city/community organizations to promote our brand and establish partnerships.

Job Requirements:

Previous experience in wine, sales, hospitality, or service preferred. Alternatively, must possess a cheerful demeanor, engaging personality, and willingness to learn.

Genuine passion for wine, cider, and people.

Proven track record of sales success and a drive to achieve goals.

Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a MAST Class 12 permit and Food Handlers Card.

Ability to lift 45 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based POS systems.

Position Details:

Full-TimeManagement: 40 hours per week, weekends required.
