Job Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:
- Greet and seat patients.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during dental procedures
- Take digital x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Registration with WA State as a Dental Assistant
- Hep B vaccine series required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- High school diploma or equivalent
Office hours are Mon-Thurs 8-5 with lunch off 12-1.
