Requirements:
-In good health for full range of movement bending, lifting, standing, on your feet and moving around most of the day and able to lift 100 lbs.
-Not allergic to saw dust or working hard.
-Mechanical skills a plus
-Drug free and able to work comfortably in a no smoking work place.
-High School Diploma or higher required
- Fluent in English speaking and writing and reading.
Details:
This is an unskilled general labor entry level position starting at $16.80/hour. It involves working and cleaning up around shop machines assisting the carpenters. Things like helping load machines with wood and catching the boards as they come off the saw or other machines, stacking the boards on a cart and moving them to another machine for more production processing. There is plenty of opportunity for developing a good job history, learning carpenter skills, becoming a carpenter, and salary increases. It is a full time position working 7am to 3 or 4pm. It includes Paid time off plus paid holidays. This is steady year round work. Our cabinets are prefinished melamine so the shop does not stink like lacquer and we keep it clean. This is a small company with under 20 employees all of which are very nice family friendly people. We are a steady growing company celebrating 32 years and still growing.
