Day Shift Available: Cylinder Hander
Job Summary: Load and unload route trucks and branch trailers. Prepare shipping orders for route trucks, assist in pre-fill inspection of cylinders and fill propane cylinders according to established procedures.
Duties include:
Clean cylinder dock of ice and standing water making it safe for cylinder movement.
Unload all hard goods from inbound branch trailers and transfer to designated area in warehouse.
Load all hard goods staged in warehouse, check other branch trailers for transfers.
Unload empty and full cylinders from branch trailers and transfer to designated areas in fill plant or maintenance area.
Check all private cylinders from branches to ensure they are properly tagged and have an invoice for tracking.
Load outbound trailers as per load list. (When possible, this is done when unloading).
Check every trailer load for accuracy upon completion.
Inform management of all shortages.
Remove all empty cylinders from Pasco store dock and put in fill plant designated areas.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
Attend monthly safety meetings.
Requirements include:
Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Able to lift/move 70 lbs; able to stand for most of the day, work in outdoor conditions.
Attention to detail; task oriented.
Able to work independently and be a team player.
General Knowledge of common hand tools, power tools, and their proper use.
Strong math skills.
Work environment-some outside.
Must pass drug screen and background check.
Salary Range: The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $20.00/hr. Day Shift $21.00 Swing Shift.
Day & Swing Shift Available: Cylinder Maintenance
Job Summary: Prepare cylinders according to established procedures. Ensure that cylinders are prepared and ready for maintenance crew as needed.
Duties include:
Valve and de-valve cylinders.
Scrap labels to prepare for regular maintenance.
General maintenance of cylinders.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Attend Monthly Safety Meetings. Work according to established safety procedures and promote safety with co-workers. Inform supervisors of potential safety hazards.
Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
Requirements include:
General knowledge of common hand tools, power tools and their proper use.
Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and good math skills.
Good reading and writing skills. Able to read and comprehend technical manuals and government publications.
Able to work independently.
Able to lift/move 80 lbs.
Work Environment-some outside.
Must pass drug screen and background check.
Day & Swing Shift Available: Cylinder Filler
Job Summary: Fill gas cylinders with various gases—oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene and carbon dioxide.
Duties include:
Check cylinders for dates and damage.
Maintain pumps, vacuum and liquid.
Calibrate analyzers.
Change oil in vacuum pumps monthly; change oil in liquid pumps quarterly.
Accurate and timely completion of paperwork per FDA requirements.
Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
Flexibility is required to adapt to changing work priorities, meeting deadlines and schedules, working independently and with interruptions, and complying with various requirements.
