Rental business looking to contract with a general handyman on a part time basis. The handyman would be utilized for the following work as needed:
- Painting
- Installing flooring
- Appliance repairs and installs
- Roofing
- Minor cement work
- Deck repairs
- Cleaning
- Yard care and landscaping
- General carpentry (understanding how to install doors, windows, and making general repairs to cabinets and walls)
- Snaking drain lines
- Minor plumbing
- Handling calls from tenants for emergencies and repairs
- Electrical experience is a plus
Hours typically are flexible. Periodically vacancies occur and filling them as soon as possible would require working longer hours (eight or so hours a day) during vacancy periods until units are ready to rent (usually two to three weeks). Must provide own tools. Additional tools can be provided as needed. Typical hours would range from 15 to 40 hours a week.
