Responsibilities

The employee shall provide support in the following areas:

This support will include coordinating the development and production of acquisition documents, procedures, plans, presentations, informational and communications products and deliverables necessary to support DOE-OHAs acquisitions activities.

Qualified technical document development and digital technology analyst to assist federal staff in creation and maintenance of a variety of acquisition, technical, and communications documents.

Translate information requests into acquisition documentation and products using the entire suite of Microsoft Office software tools.

Apply industry standard/best practices for acquisition and information management, including adhering to style guides when writing and editing documents.

Coordinate and provide analysis to support the production of acquisition documents.

Provide configuration management, writing and editing of decision documents, assessment reports, acquisition documentation, and stakeholder outreach products.

Demonstrate knowledge of DOE policies and procedures regarding information management and clearance processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must have five (5) years of relevant experience.

Bachelors Degree in relevant field of study.

Knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities (preferred).

Business experience in developing process improvements and using automation tools.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other automation tools.

Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks with dynamic priorities.

Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with individuals and groups with diverse backgrounds.

Ability to correctly and concisely capture complex ideas in writing.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledge of federal and agency regulations; knowledge of pertinent laws, regulation, and policies related to program/operations area to consider their impact on programs (preferred).

Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government background security clearance.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift & carry up to and excess of 30 lbs. Moderate to extensive sitting, standing, bending, twisting, lifting & reaching. Moderate to extended periods of office work with periods of computer usage. Moderate to extended periods of analytical tasks requiring extensive reasoning abilities.

Work Environment:

Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
