Description We are seeking a Project Accountant to join our team. This role is situated in Lynnwood, Washington, and is within the construction industry. As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various accounting and financial aspects of construction projects. Responsibilities: Accurate handling of high-volume invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable processing for multiple projects. Production of monthly project-specific applications for payment and lien waivers. Tracking and inputting data related to project budgets and costs. Assisting project managers with both owner and subcontractor change orders and entering them into the management system. Production and tracking of all subcontracts and their associated requirements. Collecting, reviewing, and entering subcontractor and vendor billings, and coordinating with project managers for final approvals. Participating in the monthly review of project budgets, costs, and profit. Using accounting software systems to perform various accounting functions. Utilizing skills in Deltek, Costpoint, and other relevant systems to manage accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and other related tasks. Performing other related duties as assigned or needed. Requirements Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in a project accounting role within the construction or contracting industry. Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems. Demonstrates experience with ADP - Financial Services. Skilled in Costpoint. Experienced in using Deltek and Deltek Vision. Familiarity with About Time software. Able to perform all Accounting Functions. Has experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Possesses auditing skills and experience. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Displays a high level of organization and attention to detail. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Has the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. Shows a high level of integrity and adherence to professional ethical standards.
