Description We are on the lookout for a dedicated Receptionist to be a part of our team in the Non-Profit sector, located in Lynnwood, Washington. The role involves being the first point of contact for our visitors, managing appointments and conference rooms, and performing light administrative duties. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, providing a welcoming and organized environment Efficiently direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments Manage the scheduling of appointments and conference rooms in a timely and organized manner Oversee the distribution of mail and manage office supplies Carry out light administrative tasks, including data entry and filing Maintain a clean and organized reception area Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for various tasks Utilize interpersonal skills to deliver excellent customer service Handle email correspondence and organize files effectively Manage the answering of a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments as required. Requirements Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Experience in answering multi-line phone systems Strong customer service skills Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently Excellent email correspondence skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to organize files effectively and maintain an organized workspace Experience in scheduling appointments Previous experience in a non-profit environment is preferred, but not required Knowledge of the non-profit industry and its unique needs and challenges Must have a high level of professionalism and respect for confidentiality Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on the feet Willingness to be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle difficult situations or conversations with a calm and detail oriented demeanor.
