Our client is a telecommunications company in the Marysville, WA area. They have been in business for over 10 years providing services to both residents and businesses.
Must have six (6) or more years of industry (IT) experience but formal education could substitute up to 2 years. Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing network switches, routers, and firewalls.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: In-depth knowledge of network monitoring software Must have experience designing network and data center installations utilizing L2 and L3 protocols Must have competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits Knowledge of DSL technologies is preferred. Must have the tolerance and patience for dealing with upset, angry, and/or frustrated individuals. Must be available 24/7 for any travel emergencies that may arise. Must be available for periodic overtime or on-call status as required.
