Hiring Stagehands for Gorge Amphitheater

Vacancy expired!

Rhino Staging & Event Solutions is an entertainment production labor company, specializing in the setup and tear down of concerts, sporting events, conventions, and trade shows throughout the nation. Rhino Northwest is currently hiring Stagehands for our busy summer concert season.

Typical duties of a Stagehand include unloading trucks, setting up lighting, audio and video equipment, stage, scaffolding and barricade installs. These are fast paced positions, requiring frequent lifting of 50+ lbs., bending, stooping, carrying, and being on your feet for extended periods of time. These positions are part-time and on call. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible schedule who would like to gain experience in the live entertainment industry. We require our employees to wear steel toe/safety boots that must go over the ankle. Must be at least 18 years old.

Schedule:

Our schedule in this industry is events-based, some weeks we may have a lot of work and then slow down the next week. Our Summer season is a great time for concerts in the NorthWest and we stay pretty busy but slow down some in the Fall and Winter. Scheduling of shifts at Rhino is done by our Scheduling team, they will call and text you and we have an online portal where you can see your schedule and confirm your shifts. Phone is our primary form of contact, if hired you would need to keep the scheduling team up-to-date on your availability and reply as soon as possible if you are or not able to accept a gig.

Location: We work at large and small venues such as The Gorge Amphitheater, WaMu Theater, Century Link, T-Mobile Park, Tacoma Dome, Kent Showare Center, White River Amphitheater (Auburn), Angel of the Winds Casino (Everette), Sunlight Supply Amphitheater (Vancouver WA).

Compensation $17/hr+ depending on experience.

Experience is a plus, but not required- we provide all the necessary training!

If you are interested in joining the Rhino Northwest team, please visit our website at https://www.thinkrhino.com/apply (select Northwest office) to complete an online application or call (206) 504-7592 for more information.
