AGB Trucking LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Fleet Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet in top shape. This is a mid- to advanced-level role, perfect for someone who already has hands-on experience and is ready to take the next step in their career.
In this role, you’ll perform routine maintenance and repairs on both heavy- and light-duty trucks and trailers. From preventative maintenance inspections to troubleshooting electrical systems, you’ll help handle it all: air brakes, tires, driveline, steering and suspension, transmissions, A/C systems, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections.
Lubricate, change fluids, replace belts, hoses, and lights.
Replace water pumps, fuel pumps, alternators, starters, radiators, brakes, exhaust systems, batteries, transmissions, and other critical components.
Document all repairs and maintain accurate service records.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.
Assist other mechanics and support team operations.
Respond to roadside service calls and perform remote repairs.
Communicate effectively with drivers regarding repair needs.
Work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience with diesel engines (Volvo preferred) and trailer systems.
Must have own tools.
Computer skills are a must, including:
o Diagnostic software (e.g., Volvo Tech Tool and Samsara).
o Basic office tools (Excel, email, digital work orders).
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. frequently and stand for extended periods.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Comfortable with repetitive bending, kneeling, and tool handling.
