Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Insurance Referral Coordinator in Mount Vernon, Washington, 98274, United States. This role involves coordinating referral and authorization duties for medical care. The workplace encourages effective and cooperative interactions and the industry is dynamic and fast-paced. Responsibilities: Facilitate communication between patients, team members, and participants to schedule patients accurately for prescribed referrals. Assist patients in navigating through referrals, insurance authorizations, and answering questions as required. Utilize skills in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Dentrix Dental Software, and Eaglesoft to enhance job performance. Provide exceptional customer service to patients both in person and over the phone. Manage tasks and competencies specific to the location and department as applicable. Oversee the administration of insurance claims. Handle answering inbound calls efficiently and professionally. Perform billing and benefit functions as part of the role. Maintain responsibility for the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proficiency in using Allscripts software. Familiarity with Cerner Technologies. Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Experience with Dentrix Dental Software. Knowledge of Eaglesoft software. Ability to efficiently handle Answering Inbound Calls. Experience with Authorizations in an insurance setting. Understanding of Benefit Functions within insurance. Knowledge of Billing Functions. Experience in Claim Administration.
