As a diversified, national organization, you’ll have access to competitive benefits including a fresh perspective on workplace flexibility.Position Purpose:Directs and oversees one or more Enterprise Engagement teams within the Enterprise Privacy & Security Risk Management (EPSRM) department to ensure alignment with and achievement of defined goals set by leadership, having responsibility for hiring, onboarding, training, task allocation and prioritization, goal setting, performance management and career development. Supports and enables the teams in their efforts to maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with enterprise stakeholders, champion solutions to address privacy and security risks, and serve as the SMEs for our contractual and regulatory information security requirements to our Health Plans, IT Teams, Policy Compliance teams, Privacy team, and Business Continuity team to ensure regulatory, legislative, and contractual privacy & security requirements are understood and met.
Directs and oversees the teams’ ongoing efforts to identify and bring awareness to privacy, security, and operational resilience risks and control gaps, and champion solutions for those within the context of Centene's business operations and technology environments in partnership with teams internal and external to Enterprise Privacy & Security Risk Management.
Directs and oversees the teams’ ongoing efforts to serve as a subject-matter-expert for privacy and security requirements and ensure regulatory, legislative, and contractual privacy & security requirements are understood and met. This includes the potential for meeting with regulators to achieve clarity on the understanding of requirements and auditors to clearly demonstrate Centene's ability to meet privacy and security requirements.
Directs and oversees the teams’ ongoing efforts to discover and communicate new or changing regulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements related to privacy, security, and operational resilience.
Directs and oversees the teams’ ongoing efforts to ensure privacy, security, and operational resilience objectives are treated as business and technology requirements.
Directs and oversees the teams’ ongoing efforts to ensure System Security Plans (SSPs) are complete and accurate.
Collaborates with leadership, stakeholders, and peers to identify needs, develop solutions, and communicate a vision and operational plan to continuously improve the Enterprise Engagement function within EPSRM.
Ensures the teams’ alignment with and achievement of defined goals and is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, allocating and prioritizing tasks, setting goals, and managing performance and career development for team members.

Education/Experience:Minimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field.Master's degree preferred.Licensure / Certifications:CISSP (Certified Information Systems Professional), CISM, CRISC (Certified Risk and Information Systems Control), CGEIT or related advanced Risk or Security certification.Minimum Experience:8 years of experience with information security capabilities, technologies, and architecture.5 years of experience in leading Business Information Security Officer (BISO), Technology Information Security Officer (TISO), or Technical Enterprise Engagement teams and engaging with executive leaders.3 years of experience with government sponsored health plan operations and associated regulatory and contractual requirements or similarly regulated industry.3 + years of supervisory/management experience.Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the role: Ability to navigate and communicate regulatory, legislative, and contractual privacy and security requirements within the context of business operations and supporting technology environments.Ability to engage in a dialogue with business and technology stakeholders to achieve agreement on how to meet privacy and security requirements; Ability to lead and develop business and technology facing engagement teams within the context of regulatory, legislative, and contractual privacy and security requirements.Pay Range: $142,300.00 - $263,500.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
