Job Title:Professional Services ConsultantRole Overview:The Professional Services team is seeking candidates that are recently graduated from college or an accredited training program in information security, information technology, or similar technical degree. This role provides the opportunity to expand existing knowledge and capabilities by completing an intensive Trellix product training and competency development.The Apprenticeship will provide opportunities to apply new skills via shadowing engagements with real-world security projects. This role provides opportunities to apply this competency to ensure Trellix solutions are deployed, integrated, assessed, and optimized to meet our customers ever-evolving security needs. You will gain insight to provide the guidance needed to automate security processes, update policies, and procedures, to improve customer experience with the Trellix products.About the Role:We will help you maintain and expand client contact at high levels and build credible relationships with important client personnel.
We will help you provide professional services and develop expertise in cybersecurity for Trellix customers.
You will leverage your expertise in cybersecurity within Trellix and assist other Trellix personnel when needed.
You will have a working knowledge of Trellix products, including how to install them, troubleshoot them, and configure them.
We will help you identify opportunities for expanding or creating professional services opportunities for Trellix.
About You:You have a university degree in System Engineering/Networks/ Programming or other similar technical program.
You have some knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems or network communication protocols
You show an appreciation and knowledge of security technologies
You are enthusiastic in working with a multicultural team and within different companies across the world.
Self-motivated (takes initiative). Expected to be able to master new technologies independently upon request.
Honest, direct communication style that does not improvise answers to questions that are unknown. Not afraid to state, ‘I don’t know’.
Effective problem resolution and logical problem-solving skills
Can multi-task and prioritize job requirements and work calmly under pressure.

Apprentice Program Success Criteria (Product Support Engineer):Complete the Apprentice Training Program covering the following topics: Implementing, configuring, and supporting McAfee security software products ENS, DLP, Application Control, Policy Auditor, McAfee Storage Scanners, and McAfee ATD appliances.Demonstrate the following attributes:Working knowledge of the following products: McAfee security software products ENS, DLP, AppControl, Policy Auditor, McAfee Storage Scanners, and McAfee ATD appliances.
Good verbal and written skills the ability to articulate technical information into easily digestible and actionable information.
Comfortable using Change and Problem management systems to address issues and implementing changes in a customer environment.
Working Knowledgeable of the McAfee Incident system and procedures to record SR’s and uploading MER and various diagnostic logs etc.
Competent researching potential issues using the McAfee SMS alerts, Knowledge Base Articles and other sources to troubleshoot potential issues with the products, or user environments.
Self-directed and motivated to take on new assignments and follow up with old issues.
Positive Team Member and professional acumen and work style conforming to Trellix Standards of conduct.
