Job Description:Role: Sustainment AnalystDefect PrioritizationReview all platform-related Production/Development tickets and identify they are working by design, requires an enhancement, or is deemed a defectPrioritize product defects based on severity, impact on service, magnitude, LOE and number of escalations sent from Production Support TeamDrive defect resolutionContinuously monitor active defects to ensure changes in impact are reflected on the issues list throughout the defect lifecyclePromote status of prioritized issues weekly with the business stakeholdersDefect AnalysisRecord and maintain all platform-related Production/Development ticketsGroup similar defect tickets based on application to drive resolution, taking into account the financial impactsFacilitate which defects Development investigates/resolves based on prioritization set by the Product Sustainment teamRequest Weekly updates, ensuring fluid movement on all product-related defectsPartner with Cross functional/internal teams to aid in the creation of new enhancements and defect initiativesRed Hat (Post Delployment Defect Support)Facilitate and coordinate Premier Red Hat process by informing all stakeholders of release details, Red Hat timeframe and instructions 1 week prior to releaseAct as a key contributor in daily Red Hat meetings with IT, core Product Managers & business stakeholdersEstablish business impact of all release related issuesDisseminate email communication to the end user community for all applicable post release supportPrioritize unresolved Red Hat tickets post Red Hat with Product Managers to be included in the regular prioritization processCompensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
