The BWL Solutions Development Architect (DA) is responsible for Digital Services, Content & Process Automation/Content Services and Intelligent Document Processing solution discovery, development, and demonstration in the solutioning stage of activities of the Xerox sales process. The DA position requires an experienced individual that can make intuitive high-level decisions for business process and workflow automation-related solutioning.

The BWL Solutions Development Architect contributes technical knowledge and expertise to assist the Digital Services and Capture & Content Teams - including but not limited to, developing/participating in technical solution demonstrations, solution level discovery sessions, business process analysis, solution scoping/pricing, and potentially assisting the on the development of large RFPs. Day to day operations include consistent collaboration with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional technical requirements for software and solution needs, leveraging the capabilities of the Xerox Content & Process Automation platforms.

The BWL Solutions Development Architect plays a key role in driving technical Pre-Sales efforts to provide integrated systems analysis and is responsible for specific solution-related recommendations including but not limited to; appropriate hardware, software components, as well as potential 3rd party integration components required to support customer goals and strategy as gathered or communicated during the technical solutioning processes.

The BWL Solutions Development Architect is responsible for maintaining awareness of appropriate industry trends, and being familiar with enterprise standards, methodology and in the platform(s) being utilized.A strong technical background and excellent IT skills are required as aspects of development will need to be approached using appropriate technology and workflow while adhering to coding standards.

This position also plays a key role in the pursuit of new business, understanding specific client business requirements to craft winning and deliverable solutions that are commercially acceptable to the customer.Industry standard tools and methodologies will be leveraged to create requirements summaries and effort estimates of desired solutions while considering professional services specifications with specific attention to system integration and feasibility.

The BWL Solutions Development Architect promotes understanding of how data is created and used in the enterprise; Promote sharing/adoption; Establish data management strategies and standards; provides expertise in one or more key data areas (Product, Customer). The role holder will demonstrate conceptual and consulting skills, ideally in the Data Capture / Intelligent Automation / RPA / BPM / BPA / ECM software market and are looking for new challenges in this area that help orchestrate and enable deal wins.

Scope

Leads and is accountable for comprehensive, end-to-end design for Content & Process Automation Solution requirements and supporting documentation.

Competency Requirements:

Participate in community of practice leaders/discussions/work sessions.

Maintain/manage tasks to utilization rate of practice personnel.

Evolve practice approach and capabilities through management leadership & mentorship.

Deeply understand practice offerings, capabilities, and solutions of the competency area.

Present relevant talk tracks/demonstration models for practice offerings.

Consider market trends, assumptions, risk assessment and governance in design.

Leverage best practices/consistency wherever possible.

Balancing requirements to Xerox capabilities and pricing.

Sales Support

Participate in technical customer discovery, requirements gathering, discussions and presentations where required.

Provide customer education and thought leadership on best practices and Content & Process Automation related offerings/solutions throughout the sales process.

Work with the Capture & Content Sales Specialists to evolve, define, and communicate solution differentiation.

Maintain visibility on and contribute to all opportunity relevant information throughout the sales cycle, (requirements, services estimate, statement of work, custom presentation recordings, etc) where appropriate.

Required Skills

Recognized as an expert in own function.

Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

5 years’ experience working with solution design, scope, or other enterprise software class technical solutioning functions.

Software solutions demonstration experience.

Experience with industry standard programming or scripting languages, including the coding/deployment of Rest APIs, and experience in the utilization of Regular Expressions.

Experience with AI/NLP, (Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing) models for content extraction and model improvement techniques leveraging a given toolset/feedback loops.

Enterprise Content Management Solutions, (Hyland OnBase) experience and appropriate technical certifications recommended.

Operating Systems included but not limited to (Installation, Basic Configuration and Administration prefer Windows Server Certification.)

Web Server (installation, configuration, Certificate-SSL, basic Administration including Authentication); i.e., IIS 7.5 and higher / Apache 2.2.x and higher.

Relational Databases (installation, basic configuration, and administration); i.e., Oracle 12.x and higher, SQL Server 2008 and higher or PostgreSQL 9.x and higher.

Internet standards: XML, XSLT, Webservices Rest, SOAP.

Network related protocols (basic configuration and administration); i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, SMTP, POP3, IMAP HTTP|S, FTP, SMB, SSL/TLS, SFTP, SCP, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services.
