Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course is looking for a Carts and Range Attendant to join our team! If you love the game of golf, enjoy working outdoors, and have great customer service skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you!Under the direction of the Head Golf Professional, will attend to the golf cart fleet and driving range.
Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for staging carts which includes cleaning, charging and checking carts after each use and returning carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
Ensures that carts are available for players use at all times.
Inspects rental clubs and dust carts daily.
Ensures that practice range is open and ready for players in the morning and will pick, clean and fill dispensers with range balls throughout the day.
Works closely with Pro Shop staff to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments.
Maintains thorough knowledge of the golf tournament schedule and consistently displays thorough knowledge of all upcoming events.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Must follow all safety rules and regulations.
Follow all general and department policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Working knowledge of the etiquette of golf.
Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules and regulations.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
A team player with excellent customer service skills.
Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members.
Strong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skills.
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Highly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive manner.
