As our Night Auditor, you are the front desk representative for the overnight shift from 11pm – 7am. You will complete all night audit functions including daily transaction reconciliation for all outlets. You will ensure that guests, employees and property are secured and safe overnight. You work independently and alone most of the time, and are fully prepared to handle emergency situations, challenging guests, and unusual requests.

QUALIFICATIONS
☐ Accounting experience highly desired.
☐ Customer service experience required
☐ Previous hospitality experience preferred
☐ Knowledge of various front office systems desired – as well as Microsoft Office, Toast point of sale and Maestro or similar systems
☐ Working knowledge of excel is essential.
☐ Requires clear and concise communication skills in order to work with all departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
☐ Provide excellent customer service and handle all special requests and issues in a professional, courteous manner
☐ Ensure emergency notification procedures are following in the event of issues taking place overnight
☐ Ensure that the night audit is performed in an accurate and timely manner each night.
☐ Complete closing reports on Maestro, Silverware, and all accounting systems, and update the excel report, ensuring that all figures are transferred correctly and in balance.
☐ Print out of all point-of-sale and front office system “Z”/end of day reports.
☐ Reconcile and close reports for golf course & marina.
☐ Balance rooms and food and beverage transactions by manually adding actual vouchers and reconcile with computer totals.
☐ Balance credit card, direct billing, tips, distributions and other payments.
☐ Report all discrepancies to the Rooms Manager, General Manager and Controller
☐ Update MOD report, STASH loyalty program and distribute morning reports.
☐ Handle front office (check in & out) functions and telephone operations
☐ Properly balance and transmit credit card Protobase transactions.
☐ Perform all activities in a professional manner and in accordance with company policy.
☐ Assist in other duties as assigned by Rooms Manager and/or General Manager
☐ Attend meetings as required
PAY RANGE
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
