Job Title/Clubhouse Bar Manager
Peninsula Golf Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clubhouse Bar/Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Manage front of the house bar/restaurant staff and schedules to ensure optimal daily coverage during regular business hours, special events and tournaments.
Oversee and order bar inventory and maintain and develop strong relationships with vendors to ensure availability of products and supplies.
Lead and manage the bar/restaurant staff and work with our kitchen staff to coordinate food service for special events and golf tournaments.
Ensure bar/restaurant staff is trained in food and bar service and adhere to State regulation food handling safety and alcohol serving standards.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years or older
Proven experience in bar/restaurant management
Strong understanding of cost budgeting and product management
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations
Current Washington State Mast card (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) and food handlers permit
Available to work long hours during special events and golf tournaments, weekends and holidays
Physically able to stand long hours and lift within standard safety regulations
Experience in short order/bar menu food preparation desired, will train if necessary
Available to work weekday’s and weekend shifts and some occasional evening shifts for events and golf tournaments
