Fountain Chiropractic & Wellness is looking for a doctor's assistant and patient advocate. We are a health improvement clinic for all that specializes in low force chiropractic care and clinical nutrition. We have been serving our community for 30 years. Our mission is to help as many people as possible while having a good time! This position has you working side by side with the doctor in the treating room.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Taking dictation from doctor
Entering patient symptoms in computer and on paper
Posting charges
Taking vitals
Performing heart sound recordings
Setting up treatment rooms for nutrition visits
Pulling products for testing
Advocating for patient with communication to front desk and doctor
SKILLS NEEDED:
Excellent handwriting
Comfortable navigating a computer
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Team player
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent detail orientation
Enjoy working in a fast-pace environment
Be curious
HOURS:
Monday 1:15 - 6:00 pm
Tuesday 1:45 - 6:00 pm
Wednesday 8:50 am - 1:30 pm
Thursday 8:50 - 1:00 with possible over-flow time 2:00-3:30
PAY:
Starting wage: $19.50 an hour for first 3 months
Profit sharing bonus (usually raises pay an additional $2.50 an hour)
