HCA-In Home Caregiver

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $21.36 to $23.38 /hour

Responsibilities and Duties
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform tasks for clients as authorized. These tasks may include:
Performing essential errands and shopping; clients are limited to one trip per week
Transporting and accompanying clients to medical services when client does not have personal transportation or is unable to go alone;
Household care maintain normal standards of health and cleanliness;
Cooking, feeding meals, and cleaning up (may include special diet);
Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, and personal care, (hair, teeth, dentures, shaving, and filing of nails);
Remind clients to take self-administered medication;
Assisting clients in and out of bed or wheelchair by providing support, steadying, and supervision;
Complete and submit all required reports and documentation, (i.e. Time/Mileage Reports, Leave slip, and Client Logs);
Reading and complying with all instructions contained in the Home Care Assistant Orientation Material and Personnel Policy Manual;
Immediately report all accidents, incidents, and changes in the clients' health or condition to a Home Care or Private Pay Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a reliable Vehicle
Must have valid Driver's License
Must have current Automobile Insurance
Must be able to pass a Criminal History Background Check

Qualifications and Skills:
Current NAC certification
12-hours of Continuing Education Credits
