As the Greenskeeper I you are responsible for the maintenance and care of the golf course. You work as part of a team to ensure that the greens and surrounding areas are in excellent condition and you identify and address any potential hazards on the course to ensure the safety of golfers. You operate assigned mowing and maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. All tasks and interactions are done in a way that upholds the company’s mission, vision, and values.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Washington State drivers license
Previous experience with golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of safe operation of mowing and other motorized equipment and tools
Knowledge of the game of golf, along with the basic rules of play
Must be a team player and willing to learn all phases of golf course maintenance
Must be punctual and dependable
Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read and understand safety rules
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
Able to work weekends and holidays as assigned
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Complete mowing operations as assigned while following golf course maintenance policies and procedures
Identify and complete tasks using small motorized equipment or hand-held gasoline powered tools such as sand rakes, utility vehicles, weed trimmers, blowers, chain saws, and fly mowers
Perform manual labor tasks using rakes, hoes, and shovels
Ensure equipment is washed and scrubbed after use and before putting away at the end of the day
Replace tools and implements used throughout the day to designated location
Other duties as requested and assigned by your manager

PAY RATE: $16.28 / hour
