This role involves fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal components used in HVAC systems. The technician will work with galvanized, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to build ductwork, louvers, and ventilation structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and HVAC system layouts.
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using manual and power tools.
Operate metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses.
Assemble and install ductwork and HVAC components, ensuring proper sealing and insulation.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC systems.
Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
