The Program Assistant will perform work requiring knowledge and experience that is specific to the WorkFirst Program and the Workforce Development Division. Organize and perform work related to program operations independent of the daily administrative office needs of the supervisor. Represent the program to students, participants and/or the public. The specialized tasks involve interpretation of policies, procedures and regulations, verification of budget transactions in relation to students' expenditures, work independently and daily public contact.
High School graduation or equivalent
Two (2) years of full-time clerical experience
Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office business software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with data tracking and data management
