Plumbing & Mechanical Installer:
Layout & install mechanical systems for large vessels, including installation, piping for engines, domestic water and hydraulics.
Long established fiberglass boat-builder, located in Hoquiam, Washington, is seeking a motivated individual, whose duties will include:
layout and install mechanical equipment on large vessels;
carry, install and hook lengths of piping ranging from 10 to 20 feet in length;
strap piping on hull sides, bulkheads, stairwells, bilges and other locations on boats;
hookups may consist of, but are not limited to, connecting piping to engines, galley & toilet fixtures, air conditioners, pumps, fuel systems, generators, and other systems;
use of hand & power tools, such as electric or battery powered drills, saws, grinders, hose crimpers, cutters, screwdrivers and other tools as needed;
any other skills in the marine industry is a plus.
The job is full time, 40 hours a week, and the pay is competitive, depending upon training and experience. Health insurance is provided.
