Web Coordinator - Executive Leadership

Position Summary:
The web coordinator for executive leadership oversees the creation and maintenance of unit web properties such as websites, online forms, calendars, bulk email and social media channels and is responsible for consulting with unit leadership to ensure the best use of those properties.
Web coordinators are a mid-level position on the University Communications and Marketing web team working under the director of web communications and operations, and working closely with the unit and department leadership, the web coordinator ensures web properties support unit goals and align with University Communications and Marketing standards.
As such, the web coordinator plays an integral role in the success of the University of Idaho.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree plus at least 1 year of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and/or related experience totaling approximately 5 years. Experience with web user interface design. Established record of successful collaboration and communication. Experience with basic HTML elements and principles. Experience creating websites using a Content Management System (CMS). Proven organizational skills and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Communications or marketing experience, preferably in higher education. Experience modifying images for web use. Working knowledge of web marketing principles. Experience with web analytics tools. Understanding of frontend web development technologies. Experience sending bulk email campaigns.
