The Engineering Division at the City of Moscow is part of the Community Development Department. Community Development is responsible for current and long-range planning services, the administration of construction permitting and inspection within the City of Moscow, and the management of various special projects. The mission of Community Development and the Engineering Division is to provide excellent customer services that are responsive and sensitive to the needs of the public while also preserving and promoting Moscow’s distinctive character. The Engineering Division oversees the quality control and administration of Community Development construction projects and maintains an archive of plans, specifications, maps, and other pertinent records. From design, surveying, and inspection activities to inter-departmental and public assistance, the Engineering Division is a professional resource that strives to meet the expectations of a growing community.
