Are you a Dental Assistant ready to play an important leadership role in building one of the best dental teams in the Pullman, Moscow area? We are looking for a Dental Assistant with a positive attitude to complement our team!
The Dental Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ordering and Inventory
- Sterilization
- Room set up and take down
- Chari-side assisting in restorative appointments
- Directing Dr Werner to rooms as hygienists are ready
- Sealants
- Temporary Fabrication
- Patient Education
- Treatment Plan Presentation and Scheduling
- Helping the team as needed
- Hold monthly staff meetings
- Attending marketing fairs
- Making Recare calls as needed
- Helping out in other areas of the office as needed
- Knowledge of how dental insurance works
- Telephone and cash handling etiquette
- Covering after hours emergencies
The Dental Assistant will act as the safety officer and also be responsible for OSHA compliance and training while also maintaining the MSDS and office waste disposal and recycling.
The Dental Assistant will ensure that the emergency pack, AED, and any other supplies are always prepared and not expired.
The Dental Assistant may also be responsible for any other duties that the front office needs or the Doctor assigns.
Preferred Qualifications, but will train the right person:
- Expanded Functions Certification
- Certified dental assistant
- Experience with dental office software, digital radiographs, front office, billing and treatment planning
- Administrative Assisting in a medical environment
- Knowledge and experience with nutrition and exercise that can be shared to motivate patients toward a life of total health
