Duties
As a Dental Hygienist at our clinic, you will be responsible for performing routine cleanings, exams, and patient assessments. You will also be required to work closely with our dentists to provide a comprehensive care experience for our patients. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient assessments to identify oral health needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Performing scaling, polishing, and other dental hygiene procedures
- Educating patients on oral health and hygiene techniques
- Utilizing dental software such as Open Dental and Dexis iimagin to manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborating with our dental team to provide high-quality care.
- Participating in continuous education and training to stay current on the latest dental technologies and best practices
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental clinic environment
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program. You must also have a current license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Washington. Additionally, you should have experience working in a dental office or clinic. Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus. Our ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal Candiadte will live in Whitman county and have a reasonable commute.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.14 - $50.74 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
