Farmhand needed

January-March(40hrs/wk): Shop work: maintenance on machinery and waxing up machinery.

March-May(65-80hrs/wk): Spring field work: trucking water and fertilizer, harrowing, fertilizing, spraying seeding, and repairs as needed.

May-July(40-50hrs/wk): Summer work: trucking grain to river, spraying, mowing lawns, combine maintenance

July-September(90-100hrs/wk): Harvest: Busiest time of the year. Combines harvesting, bankout wagons, truck driving, spraying(leaving early in the morning), truck driving, and repairs as needed.

September-October(60-80hrs/wk): Fall field work: seeding, fertilizing, truck driving, harrowing, fall tillage (disking or chiseling).

October-December(40hrs/wk): Hauling grain to rivers, maintaining grain silos, cleaning up equipment, and maintenance on mahcinery.

We do a lot of hauling whether it be canola to Warden, Washington or grain to Lewiston, Idaho or to Almota, Washington, occassionally to Central Ferry Washington and to Clarkston Washington. We also haul into other local areas during harvest and with garbonzo beans.

Working Location

We are spread from Diamond, Washington area to 6 miles east of Genesee, Idaho. With fields scattered around Colfax, Pullman, and Colton, Washington. We also have fields around Genesee, Idaho.

Job Requirements

Must be able to drive a class 8 truck

Must be fluent in English

Must be somewhat mechanically inclined and willing to learn mechanics

Must be a self-starter and have critical thinking skills

Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs

Must be able to climb grain bins

Farmhand or farm related experience is preferred
