Leland Lawn is hiring Landscaping & Lawn Care Technicians for the 2019 season!
Primary duties will include landscaping grounds of properties using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing/trimming, weeding, bark/rock installation, watering, sod laying, planting, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, and installation of concrete blocks, along with other landscaping/lawn related tasks.
Must work with other crew members and follow instructions as to how landscaping services are performed.
Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs, walk for over 5 miles per day, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Cannot have major allergies to plant/dust or bee/wasp stings.
Must be timely and have reliable means of getting to work.
Must be available full time Monday through Friday from April through August (preferably through October). Our work day begins at 8 am, yet can change due to various factors. Due to the seasonality of our work, you will work with other company crews performing various other landscape maintenance related services and some overtime/weekends will be required.
At this time, we are also seeking employees for primarily weekend work. This would be 8 am to 6 pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay rate starts at $13.00 per hour and will increase depending on experience after probationary period.
