Opening for grounds maintenance person. Duties include, but not limited to, the following: lawn mowing and trimming, garbage pick-up, landscaping, yard debris removal. My company mainly contracts with the apartment rental companies in Pullman. Some work in the outlying communities. Wages higher, depending on experience. This is a full time position for the right person.
Required qualifications:
Must have a valid drivers license, proof of current insurance, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to show up on time, ready to go to work.
Must have a phone with the ability to download a time tracking app to use during working hours (you will be compensated for this use of your phone).
Must be able to work well with others, as well as unsupervised.
Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
Must be willing to conform to all safety precautions regarding clothing and jewelry on the jobsite.
General knowledge of lawn equipment (lawn mower, gas trimmer, gas blower, etc.).
Ability to communicate to others in safe operation of equipment if the situation warrants it.
Desired qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of 2 and 4 cycle small engines.
Above average knowledge of lawn care and landscaping.
