Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Puyallup, Washington. The role is primarily onsite and within the manufacturing industry. As an Accountant, you will be entrusted with maintaining accurate financial records, conducting bank reconciliations, and managing tax-related tasks. You will also be expected to handle general ledger functions and perform various other accounting duties.Responsibilities: Conducting Sales Tax Returns and managing Sales Tax Jurisdiction codes. Preparing and processing Journal Entries. Handling B& O and Month-end tasks. Familiarity with treasury operations. Conducting regular Reporting. Managing Bank Reconciliations. Preparing Payroll Journal Entries. Processing Personal Property Tax Returns. Overseeing General Ledger functions. Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient workflow. Carrying out key Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Auditing and maintaining Balance Sheet Account. Ensuring Month End Close procedures are carried out accurately.
