We are seeking a Program Manager to assist with development and deployment of automation solutions (involving both hardware and software) to industrial locations in North America, Europe, and Asia. This will be a very cross functional role involving the identification and mitigation of cross functional risks & inter dependencies while driving cross functional processes to ensure peak efficiency across the team. This person should be skilled at execution, with ability to span from creating broad strategies to driving detailed implementations. A systematic approach to solving problems is desired.
Scope:
Be involved in/or start cross functional talks to identify & address dependencies.
Work closely with cross functional leads to create relevant product plans.
Structure & drive cross functional checkpoints for development and deployment efforts.
Work hands-on for many tasks supporting part number creation, coordination with vendors and component manufacturers, and coordinating shipping logistics.
Communicate well with stakeholder groups and leadership to track program progress, coordinate activities, and escalate as needed to ensure program success.
Required:
2-5 years of experience working in the capacity of a cross functional program manager.
Experience working on a team supporting hardware and software product development.
Create/Track/Maintain schedules and milestones focused on product development and launch.
Excellent written & oral communication skills Must be able to present complex experiences & simplify critical decisions to their key points.
Experience working with a variety of teams, such as (but not limited to) engineering (hardware and software), design, finance, logistics, and operations, as well as comfort and familiarity working with external vendors.
Pluses:
Experience being a contributor to the creation of new processes & building a team in parallel with driving urgent development efforts.
Drive internal and external teams & manage relationships effectively to drive cohesive execution across the team.
