Assembly Tech2nd shift$18 - $19 per hourJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Assembly Tech to join our team. You will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies, handling and installing fiber-optics, and related hardware. You will also ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated, support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems, and participate in process improvements. You will be working independently to execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables, and your contributions may include improving work instructions and safety procedures.Responsibilities

Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations

Assemble and test with emphasis on detail an assortment of avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and related hardware

Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated

Support some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems

Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory

Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables

Execute test procedures for component and system level testing and maintenance

Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.

Contribute to improving work instructions and safety procedures

Essential Skills

Willingness to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts), overtime, and weekends as needed

Flexibility in working/commuting between site locations

Ability to stand for long periods, climb up and down ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch as required to perform job functions

Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with hand tools

Familiarity with avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies

Knowledge of fiber-optics installation and related hardware

Location - Redmond, Washington.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
