CV Research Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a creative, skilled, and motivated Research Engineer to join our team in advancing the state-of-the-art of computer vision and multi-modal sensing with wearables, including action and gesture recognition, object detection and tracking. You will work with research scientists, software engineers and hardware engineers to build and optimize wearable sensing systems in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on CV/ML engineer with deep CV domain expertise, attention to detail, and a track record in building user-facing, real-time, interactive applications.Responsibilities  Train CV/ML models for wearable AI experiences, including gesture recognition, object detection, scene understanding  Measure and report performance of our CV/ML models under real-world conditions  Improve our CV/ML models through failure analyses and hyper-parameter optimization  Collaborate across an interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to build an end-to-end wearable CV system (sensor hardware, data collections, training, evaluation, real-time inference)We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
