Job DescriptionSummary:At Reality Labs - Research (RL-R), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfacesand hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed realityexperiences. We are specifically looking for a candidate with a broad set of experiences,including embedded design, analog/mixed signal design, and camera experience. The systemswe work with could have ASICs, microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs from simple to large,displays, audio, inertial sensors, haptic interfaces, image sensors, and high-speed I/O. The idealcandidate would be comfortable designing mixed high-speed digital circuit boards, beexperienced with troubleshooting at the board and system level, and have experience withdisplay driver ICs.Job Responsibilities:Develop schematics, guide board layout, assemble, test, debug, and integratemulti-component electrical systems using industry-standard simulation and design packagessuch as Cadence, Altium, MATLAB, and SPICESuccessfully bring up and debug opto-electrical systems that include image sensors, displaydriver ICs, lasers, depth sensors, switching power supplies, or low/high-speed digitalcommunication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI and USB SSAble to adapt and respond to changing prioritiesSimulate and test machine/structure/system operation.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
