M365 Project Manager - Transformation Projects

We partnered with one of the largest tech companies based out of Redmond, WA to find an outstanding Project Manager.

18 month long remote contract.

The Consumer Sales team is looking for a project manager to help oversee transformation projects for (M365) business in North America. This role will report into the M365 North America category lead and work closely with the North America and Worldwide category teams, as well as the sales and channel marketing teams for North America to ensure seamless alignment, integration and progress towards key transformation program goals.

This role will primarily be focused on the expansion and accelerated roll-out of a strategic retail partner program designed to maximize Microsoft 365 subscription renewals, working closely with the internal Microsoft teams and external North America retail partners to launch this program and execute strong subscriptions lifecycle engagement. This role will also focus on the expansion of M365 selling into key mobile operator partners in North America, with similar internal and external partner engagement and program management. These two transformation projects require an entrepreneurial spirit, strong communications and collaboration skills, proactive problem solving, detailed project management skills and strong accountability to deliver business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Navigate a complex business and multiple stakeholder environment internally and externally to drive strategic alignment and advancement of M365 NA transformation programs.
  • Collaborate closely with category, sales and channel marketing colleagues to maximize communications, strategic alignment and seamless execution.
  • Be the M365 NA transformation program subject matter expert and source of truth for all partners, including trouble shooting issues with solutions and providing real-time updates that keep all informed.
  • Lead, manage and monitor program performance to drive data-based insights and proactive recommendations that culminate into further business impact.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on schedule - from start to finish, meet challenges with proactive solutions, and hit projected results/KPIs.
  • Sharp analytical skills and acumen to review and manage budgets, market data, and revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering/global teams to progress the technical integration and testing work that is required for retail partner and mobile operator integration.
  • Work with Microsoft's Legal and Procurement teams to onboard external partners and drive the development of contracts & agreements.
  • Partner with marketing on the development and execution of the "go to market" plan for each transformation partner.
