To lead our data center acquisitions and portfolio, NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated and process driven Senior Manager, Data Center Sourcing to join the Corporate Procurement team.You will lead our data center leasing and cloud service agreement sourcing activities. Ideal candidate will focus on delivering optimal solutions, driving cost savings, and improving overall commercial terms. The primary concentration of activities for this position will be centered around leading our worldwide data center portfolio growth and cloud service contracting needs.What you’ll be doing:

Work with key internal partners to assess business needs and find optimal solutions related to data center locations and global partners.

Perform market research to identify viable partners by location and perform data analysis required to prepare for supplier commercial negotiations, RFIs, RFP’s. You will perform sourcing activities, including negotiating contracts and provide project management of sourcing activities from start to end, including regular status updates to the teams’ partners.

Source and negotiate global data center leases and assist with cloud services agreements and related contracts with large enterprise customers across a variety of industries to support internal growth.

You will need a strong understanding of relevant contract terms, compliance obligations, and collaborator requirements to negotiate custom cloud services agreements.

What we need to see:

Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant business or technical degree or equivalent experience.

12+ years of relevant experience including 7+ years strategic sourcing in data center acquisitions. Fast-growing technology company, preferable.

2+ years of people leadership experience.

Sourcing/site selection responsibilities across different data center owners and providers. Examples: wholesale and retail space and power leases and service orders.

Pricing and contract negotiations.

Ability to bring new insights to the table to reduce costs.

Leader with vision around growing global reach with data center operators.

Lead communication between global infrastructure, network engineering, and project managers as well as experience in leading negotiation teams.

Experience completing RFPs and RFQs for various spend categories.

Background with procurement tools and processes (e.g., e-RFx, Reverse Auctions).

Strong communication skills, giving presentations to senior management.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Strong negotiating skills.

Strong project management skills. Escalation, communication.

Being comfortable to pivot (change of plans) at a moment’s notice.

High level of technical understanding of the data center universe, and deep understanding of pricing structure of wholesale and retail colocation.

Data center experience across regions including US, EMEA, APAC, India and China.
